  Crimson... That's not what JWs think...

  but for those of us who remember all the mid-80's Armageddon buzz in the JW community, it was not uncommon to hear elders and COs saying things like " Armageddon is only a few years away" or "this system will not go past 1999" or "the furthest away Armageddon can possibly arrive is 2014".... of course, they'll deny this now, but many of us heard these words mentioned from the platform, in field service, and in casual conversation... So here we are... At the threshold of the furthest possible Armageddon date...

  (I do realize they gave themselves a way out by overlapping 2 generations and calling these 1 generation... but this must surely have a lot of JWs looking at their calendar more frequently than usual)

  October 2nd, 2014: The World Ends Tomorrow, Taking all Bets!

  on october 2, 1914, charles taze russell, founder of the watchtower, announced that the gentile times have ended!.

  tomorrow will be exactly 100 years since his historic announcment.. to commemorate this centennial occasion, i will gladly take bets in any amount of money that the world will not end tomorrow and that on friday, october 3rd, 2014 gmt, we will still all be here, for better or worse.. any die-hard jws interested in taking the other side of this friendly little wager?

  still hoping the big "a" is coming tomorrow and your loving god, jehovah, is going to commit mass genocide and execute 99.9% of earth's population because they don't follow the dictates the 7 members of the "faithful and discreet slave," aka, the governing body of jehovah's witnesses?.

  If the book "Crisis of Conscience" were widely available in Spanish, the Watchtower Corporation would suffer huge losses....

  i have been looking high and low for a hard copy of "crisis de conciencia" for the past 4 years now... i've yet to find it anywhere new or old.

  if i could, i would purchase at least 16 of these books and mail them to 16 spanish-speaking jws i know in the states and south america.

  it would definitely cause at least 7 of those jws to wake up... i just know it.. now i know it's available in pdf, but most latin american countries are not into e-readers when reading voluminous writings such as this book.

If I could, i would purchase at least 16 of these books and mail them to 16 Spanish-speaking JWs I know in the States and South America. It would definitely cause at least 7 of those JWs to wake up... I just know it.

  Now I know it's available in pdf, but most Latin American countries are not into e-readers when reading voluminous writings such as this book. They still prefer actual books forthis kind of reading, so it will take quite a few years for Kindle or other e-readers to gain popularity south of the border. However, if this book were readily available in hard copy (in Spanish), I'm certain it would stand a much better chance of getting read than the pdf version.

  Hopefully, someone will pick up where Cynthia and her friends left off. With a little marketing, this book would most definitely go a long way in waking up many more JWs and will put yet another huge dent in the Watchtower's bottom line. In fact, over a period of just a few years, this could actually bring the WT to its knees...

  Just thought I'd put that out there for your comments and consideration....
